Abbey Hotel Golf & Spa

Child and dog friendly . Rooms were soacious - unfortunately the TV did not work but not too important. All staff were friendly but special mention to Charlotte in the restaurant who was friendly and patient with our 2 young grandchildren. We had two dogs with us and they were made welcome. There were spaces to walk them and they were able to join us in all areas apart from the restaurant. We were a group of 6 adults - 2 infants and 2 dogs celebrating my special birthday and it was a perfect venue. We had half board and the breakfast and 3 course included meal were delicious. My room was decorated with banner and balloons and a birthday brownie at our meal. We used the pool etc which was warm and clean - very friendly staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to go again .

They have spa and pool facilities and allow dogs which were the main reason we chose this place. I enjoyed a facial, body scrub, massage and manicure. The house-keeping staff are excellent. Especially Zoe who helped me deal with a situation with grace. The food was excellent, in the restaurant bar and room service. The service overall was excellent. Nice places to chill out both inside and out. Very clean. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The hotel was ideally placed for us attending a wedding over at Bordesley Park. There was plenty. of space and the beds were comfy. I was also really impressed with the service from reception when we asked for some extra tea & milk and some water when we returned from the wedding.

The hotel is in a lovely location & has lovely grounds. The bar area & restaurant overlooks the golf course & are very pleasant. The cooked breakfast was good too. Iron & ironing board in all three bedrooms so no need to request one if needed.

Lovely comfy bed, room was spacious and bathroom was a good size too. Iron, hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel all provided which was fab. Free parking too, swimming pool, steam room and sauna was great too! Just a shame the kids were very noisy.
